All About Baby

 The babers quite likes to be in his saucer, he is figuring out how to turn it around to get to all the toys.  And he is getting really good at reaching and grabbing toys.

Here he is 4 months old:
15 lbs. 7 oz  (78th percentile)
25.8"  (84th percentile)
43.3 cm-head circumference

I am always so amazed at how big he is, especially compared to other two when they were his age.

When lying on his back he loves to play with his feet and suck on his toes.

 This is the first time I fed him something other than rice cereal or oatmeal.  I fed him squash.  I thought that he wouldn't be so sure of the new taste and texture, but he gobbled it all up without even making a face. 

He rolls over.  He doesn't really like to be on his tummy, so he rarely rolls from back to tummy. 

Food and Sledding

In February when the baby turned 4 months we started him on solids. He LOVES food! 

 He has got the hang of it and likes everything I feed him. 

He doesn't like the green vegies so much, but he will eat them.

 

The end of January Justin came home from work early one day and we took the kids to a sledding hill up by Park City. 

Yes, we paid to go sledding.

It was a lot of fun.  Not only do you get a fun ride down the hill, but you get a ride up the hill too.



Growing and Loving

This is the babe at two months old, he is growing so much. 

I wish the little, teeny, tinyness of being a newborn would last just a bit longer.

Check out his tummy.  I love how big and round it is, I think it is so cute.

At his checkup he is:

12 lbs. 10 oz.      73rd percentile

23 inches     49th percentile

 Since the baby was born Caden hasn't wanted anything to do with his little brother.  I would ask if he wanted to hold him or comb his hair and the answer was always no.  If Caden couldn't see the baby he would ask where he was other than that he just wanted to play with his trucks. 

Finally one day Caden asked if he could hold the baby, I was so happy!!  Now he wants to hold the baby all the time.  I asked Caden why he wants to hold the baby so much now..."because, I like him", he said.  My heart melted at that moment. 



six weeks

A few weeks ago my baby boy turned 6 weeks old.

Sweet, Sweet Baby Boy

Monday, Oct. 4th I had my weekly Dr. appointment.  I had been so miserable I just wanted to have that baby out!  I had planned on asking the Dr. to just induce me, I could not last another day.

I had been having a few contractions here and there the past four days, nothing too painful. 

After the Dr. checked me out he said "why don't you just go over to the hospital."  "Can you be there at 11:00?"

Heck ya!!!  I will be there.

The dr. came to the hospital about 3:45 p.m.  He broke my water and my baby was born at 5:03.

Justin will probably be mad at me, but I have to say that he did pass out while I was getting my epidural.  After I saw that he was alright I laughed so hard.  It hurt to laugh but it was seriously the funniest thing.  No, he wasn't watching me get my epidural.  He just fainted.

Here we are with the newest member of our family. 

Kyler Andrew

8 pounds 9 ounces

20 1/2 inches

10-4-10      5:03 p.m.

4 days old.  We went to the pediatrician today for baby's weight check.  He weighs 7 lbs. 12 oz.

Fish Lake

August 13-15, we went on our annual McMullin camping trip to Fish Lake.  I was 32 weeks prego, and everybody thought I was nuts for going camping.  We had so much fun, when it was time to go home none of us were ready. 

We rode 4-wheelers (not me), went boating, hung out around the campfire, and just had a fun relaxing time.  Except when Caden got stung by a bee on the hand.  We look forward to this every year, and are already looking forward to next years trip.

SCISSORS

I can't get used to this!  Baby girl took the scissors to her own hair one night.  NOOOOOOOO!

I ended up taking her to a local salon to get it fixed.

She says she likes it short and doesn't want it long again.

Dad and mom think otherwise.  I miss being able to "do" her hair.
